Australia Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara - Canberra

During this rainy season (vassana) resident Ven theros will conduct weekly Buddha pooja and Dhamma Sermon sessions on every Saturday evening.

Religious activities:
•Offering of alms giving (breakfast and lunch) including the evening 'Puja' to the Lord Buddha and resident Thero (incumbent monk) and reciting of Sutras', daily thrice a day;
•Conduct and organise three full-moon day' (which are called Poya Days) anniversary programs (Vesak, Poson and Katina) that are important for Buddhist and other monthly full-moon day religious (Sill) programmes from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m. for adults in the temple;
•Conduct annual Sil program from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. for children in the temple; and
•Participate in special religious events in temples/houses of Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia and interstate temples of Sri Lanka.
